What if I don't know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, unhappy, or want support in managing life more effectively, therapy could help. Many people try therapy simply to grow, heal, or improve their self-awareness.
What if I'm not sure I have any of these diagnoses?
Much of therapy is about exploration. If anything on this website has spoken to you so far, please reach out. Fitting into a specific diagnosis is not essential to successful therapy, and many people do not get diagnosed in therapy at all. I want to help you understand the issues that you face and find power, control, and resiliency in the face of them, with or without an official label.

What does an average session look like?
We will start therapy by building the relationship. I will ask questions about your history, your current struggles, and your goals, while sharing some facets about myself and allowing space for other parts about you that may not be specific to therapy, like your hobbies and interests.

Later on in our work together, sessions typically follow a certain pattern:
-
Checking in (i.e. sharing wins, places to grow, or things you noticed since last session)
-
Agreeing on an intention for the session
-
Exploring that intention and diving deep into the emotions, thoughts, and experiences that will then bring about change in your daily life
-
Reflection
How much does a session cost?
Clients pay $165 per 50-minute session. There is a sliding scale for those who need it. I do not take insurance at this time.
